Our Pizza

Remember what it was like living in Chicago?
Ok, forget the weather, and the heart breaking sports teams, I’m talking about the PIZZA!
Unlike NY, Chicago boasts many different variations of pizza: thin and crispy crust pizza (cut in squares of course), Deep Dish (i.e. Lou’s), or Deep Dish Stuffed (i.e. Giordano’s or Gino’s). Even within those categories, there’s plenty of variation and differences in taste. That’s what makes trying to be an “AUTHENTIC” Chicago style pizza joint so hard- no two pies are the same in The Windy City. What I try to provide is the same pizzas that I grew up with. They may not be exactly like the place you grew up with, but I promise you it will be better than any other attempt to recreate Chicago style pizza that San Diego has ever experienced!
What does that mean to you? Now you don’t need to wait til you go back home or waste money shipping pizza out on dry ice to get real Chicago Style pizza, all you have to do is head out to Poway.
We also make NY style pizza too so just because you’re from a little farther east and have more World Series wins than Chicago has apperances doesn’t mean that we won’t serve you. Don’t let our name fool you, we make the best NY style pizza in the area as well. That’s not what I say, but what my customers with the funny accents all tell me - that it’s the best NY style pizza they’ve had out in San Diego. I’ve even had New Yorkers who were out here on vacation tell me that my NY style is better than 90% of the pizza places that they go to back home.
So if you ever hear a pizza place out here tell you that the difference between their pizza and what you remember from back home is the water, walk right out of that shop and come to mine because that line is only used by people who can’t make good pizza.
