Wednesday are WING night at Sweet Home Chicago. Get 10 of the best hot wings you’ve ever had for only $5. I’m not talking some itty bitty wings that are fried and served by a ’surgically enhanced’ woman in short orange shorts. I’m talking about LaNova wings. Tonight was (is) Burger Tuesday. 1/3 pound cheeseburger/fries/drink for $6. Epic Fail. Glad I hold the record at Rocky’s Crown Pub of eating eight, yes eight,  1/2 pound burgers plus 1 order of fries and a bunch of beers (but fries and beers don’t count) because I’m going to be eating a lot of them tonight.

That being said, next week will be Training Tuesday instead. We’ll be letting the new guys test their skills and you’ll save some dollar bills. 50% off all thin crust pizza orders next Tuesday!*

So bring it, make them busy. I need to see how they can handle the pressure and the busier times. The thin crust pizzas might not be round, they might not look pretty, they might take longer than usual. But it doesn’t matter because you’ll be able to afford a great beer while you wait with the money you save. Or, you can save that extra $ and come in again some other time.

Can’t Eat Meat on Friday? Eat PIZZA!

I’m not Catholic, but my cousin was and when I was growing up, I loved staying overnight at his house on Friday nights during Lent. Why? Because they had pizza every Friday night instead of fish! Granted it was only cheese or vegetable topped pizza, but it was still better than fish!!!

So during Lent this year, don’t settle for fish when you can have pizza and save some money! Yeah, that’s right. Every Friday during Lent order any style LARGE  pizza with cheese only or with only vegetable toppings and save $4 off the regular price. Think about it folks, do you really want to fire up your oven to cook some fish sticks, or run the risk of choking on a fish bone? No you don’t. You want pizza. Really good pizza. To get your savings, just say ”Save a fish. Eat a pie” when you order or when you come in to pay. You might sound silly saying it, but you’ll be $4 richer if you do!
